Okay, I am one of those people who dresses their dog for Halloween, constantly talks about him, has more pictures of him than her husband, etc. I'm a dog lover-Gilligan is my baby and he is rotten! First off, I am in total agreement about having more pictures of the dog vs. my husband. When we got a new puppy this year, I made out of plywood a puppy with a blue ribbon for the front yard.... like a stork. It was a big hit but I never thought of announcements. Love it.
