Bookworm Gifts

Need a gift for a book lover? A gift card to a local bookstore is always a good choice. Unless you know the name of the particular book they want, you may end up getting them one they have already read. There are a few gadgets that I thought would make good gifts as well.

The Thumb Thing is a great idea (I wish I had thought of this). You put this on your thumb to help hold your book open. This would come in handy, because your thumb gets tired after a few minutes of reading. When you're finished reading, it can be used as a bookmark. Four sizes, assorted colors-$3.95 http://www.spoonsisters.com/

The Lightwedge is a nifty idea too! The Paperback Book Light projects light only on the page you are reading. No light escapes to bother anyone sleeping next to you. From http://www.lightwedge.com/ $24.95, comes in an assortment of colors. There is also one available for hard cover books.

Bookends make great gifts for book lovers. http://www.wrapables.com/ has this set of Eureka Bookends. It looks like a tiny guy is crawling into the side of your book! Very cute-$29.95
